MAY 2021
This May, Sydnie will be graduating from Rider University, earning her BFA in Musical Theatre. Rider University will be uploading a virtual showcase.
FEBRUARY 2021
In February, Sydnie co-directed and appeared in Upon the Shoulders We Stand, a cabaret meant to showcase, uplift, and amplify the beautiful black artists in the School of Fine and Performing Arts at Rider University.
JANUARY 2021
This past January, Sydnie appeared as a backup vocalist for Sheldon Steele’s virtual concert; Big Dreams.
JANUARY 2021
Sydnie appeared in Chasing Grace, a new musical written by Elizabeth Addison, and directed by DeMone Seraphin.
SUMMER 2020
This past summer, Sydnie began to find her passion for writing music, and formed her current music group nghtswmmrs. Together they collaborated to write 2 songs; ‘Line In The Sand’ and ‘Ctrl.’ To hear Sydnie’s lyrics and vocals, check them out on all music streaming platforms!
SPRING 2020- Girls Like That
In the spring of 2020, Sydnie was in Rider University’s production of Girls Like That. Directed by Stan Cahill. This performance was cancelled due to Covid-19.
SPRING 2020- Songwriter’s Cabaret
Sydnie had the amazing opportunity to sing a song her friend Dylan Erdelyi wrote in the Songwriters Cabaret, a student run production to showcase student works.
SPRING 2020- Upon The Shoulders We Stand
In the spring of 2020, Sydnie choreographed and performed in Upon The Shoulders We Stand, a cabaret conceived, produced, and performed by the black students in the School of Fine and Performing Arts.
SPRING 2020- MAD About You Cabaret
Sydnie appeared as a featured soloist in Rider University’s MAD About You Cabaret. Directed by Franklin Trapp.
FALL 2019- Bright Star
In the fall of 2019, Sydnie appeared in the dance ensemble and was one of two dance captains in Rider University’s production of Bright Star.
SUMMER 2019- Seussical The Musical
In the summer of 2019, Sydnie appeared as Mayzie La Bird in Kids Who Care’s production of Seussical, directed by Deborah Jung.
SPRING 2019- Summer of ‘69: A Woodstock Cabaret
In the spring of 2019, Sydnie was a featured soloist in Summer of ‘69: A Woodstock Cabaret, directed by Franklin Trapp.
